Very proud to be working with Mark Cousins on our documentary based on DH Lawrence's travel diary Sea and Sardinia (1921), shot on location in January 2014! Currently busy on post-production...more anon...Check the photos for the 3rd Class train he actually travelled in with his wife Frieda, still used as a summer tourist train, with all original fixtures, the plaque bearing an excerpt likening Sardinia (in the winter) to his own Derbyshire, and the bread he described, still baked today!
