Event Description

As increasingly connected travellers, how can we use technology to improve our experiences?

As part of Social Media Week Glasgow this will be an open session which will bring together startups, technologists, travellers and members of the tourist industry to explore the rise in Social Travel.

The event will be in the style of an informal ‘open-mic’ so attendees can give a short 10 minute talk or presentation of their projects and ideas.

In particular, attendees are invited to share their

  • experiences with using social technologies for travel
  • hopes for travel in the future
  • projects and technologies relating to social travel
  • plans to adapt to the needs of social travellers
This is a free event, but please register your interest if you'd like to come!
