Event Description

Tech Meetup Glasgow #2 is coming! Wednesday June 3rd, 7pm.

The first Tech Meetup Glasgow had a great turnout, excellent talks and healthy debate. It was great to see so many people there, and hope to see lots of you back again. And a big thanks to Hillington Innovation who are sponsoring TechMeetup Glasgow.

Our two speakers this month, are covering very interesting topics, and of course they'll be plenty of time for debate and chat inbetween.

The talks :
Dave Sapien - New challenges in UI. A look at new technologies, the User Interfaces that control them and what challenges we can face with new thinking.

John Gallagher - Smarter than the Average Application. Users aren’t stupid and lazy, but much modern software is. That’s John’s opinion. He’ll be telling us why and the AI techniques he’s using to make Lapsus, his time tracker, smarter than the average application.

Same venue as last month, Room M329 of James Weir Building at Strathclyde Uni. So bring yourself, your experiences, and your opinions. We’ll bring the drinks, the pizza, and the speakers.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Directions: (lift to 3rd floor) Room M329, James Weir Building,
Strathclyde Campus, 75 Montrose Street, Glasgow.
