I'm working on STV Local - http://local.stv.tv - first iteration was released in October with a few modifications added this month and a restructuring to get deeper into the 'hyperlocal' context due later this year.

Hi Matt, Ofcom are consulting on this at present - you could get more details from the Ofcom office in Belfast. I think the deadline is September.

Ofcom will be publishing its consulations on local/hyperlocal media in a few weeks time. Interested parties in the grouop should be prepared to help shape the debate.

http://www.fixmystreet.com/ - great, simple use of hyperlocalalism to improve our surroundings. And they even have an iPhone app. And a GoogleMaps mashup. My oh my.
