Our clients are looking to recruit a lead designer to complement their team of designers, developers, content and project managers for a prestigious project for one of the UKs leading brands. 

Working within the digital team you will be the design lead for new online services, full-scale redesigns and iterative enhancements to every aspect of the clients website. The work will involve design and development for creative design, page layout, landing pages, banner design, mobile etc. You’ll be taking design briefs and user experience issues from wireframes to templates and have a proactive approach to design - highlighting current weaknesses and providing ideas to help improve.

This is an exciting role which will also include input into a range of company-wide projects and provides a great opportunity to show what you can do for leading brands.

As well as a portfolio which shows your ability and appreciation for design you will be required to have a good technical understanding in the key area of UX. Good knowledge of Photoshop, HTML and CSS are therefore essential, knowledge of Joomla is an advantage.

The position is open to individuals with several years experience client side, as well as those with agency experience.

Skills required 

·         Talent for creating great online design

·         Have an eye for detail that takes a UI from good to great

·         Expert Photoshop

·         Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

·         Experience in designing MVT variations

·         Knowledge of current web standards and the latest trends
