folly, FACT and Cornerhouse are embarking on an exciting joint venture to deliver a collaborative programme across the region; AND (Abandon Normal Devices) is an annual festival of new cinema and digital culture in the North West, taking place in Liverpool and Manchester on alternate years, with a distributed programme in Cumbria, Lancashire and Cheshire.

Visit the AND website now at www.andfestival.org.uk for details.

23 - 27 September 2009, Liverpool.

Bursting from screens and galleries into the streets and imaginations of the Northwest, Abandon Normal Devices (AND) is a new cross-regional festival that questions the normal and champions a different approach. The debut AND festival arrives in Liverpool in September 2009.

In development:

Love Culture is the vision of folly’s Chief Executive, Taylor Nuttall who wanted to create a digital platform that really helped arts and cultural organizations to embrace and engage with their audiences to build deeper relationships.

Supported by the Arts Council this project is part of Art of Digital www.artofdigital.co.uk a region-wide development programme, which is a partnership between FACT, folly and ACENW. This programme supports digital strategy, capability, sustainability and ideas for Arts organisations in the North West.
