Forgive the cross post, but I thought this might be of interest to 38 Minutes members.  It's a round up of the last twelve months for the interactive and videogames sectors here in Scotland...

The sad demise of Realtime Worlds towards the end of the year has overshadowed *everything* else, so I thought it was worth looking at what else has been happening here in Scotland at the same time.

It's not all doom and disaster.  Promise...

Hi Barry,

Thank you very much for getting back to me.  Feedback is always very welcome.  I'd like to know more about the company and what you're up to.  Do you have any info you can send my way?  I'll gladly run a feature on you guys, list you in Who's Who, etc.  Any news updates would also be very welcome...

Thanks,

Brian.

That's a pretty thorough review all right. I'm not sure if we fall into the Game or App camp but it's probably worth mentioning Muvizu alongside the other companies. We've built a dead-easy-to-use 3D animation application around the Unreal 3 game engine. It's been in public Beta for over a year now and we're presently upgrading the Unreal and Morpheme tech that underpins it. The next release/update will be in the Spring.
