So why change the 38minutes groups?

Since the site launched and over 3000 folks have joined up there has been the ability to create a group at will. Over time many groups were duplicated or were left with just a single blog post and many were also created as a company page which defeats the point of the network as companies can be created as members.

The ‘wanted’ group has been a great success for its targeted ability to look for and find jobs, both full time and consulting. The other groups have been less well used and this is often down to them being diluted in their sheer number.

So we’ve started a total restructure which will involve many groups being merged and/or deleted and replaced by more generic groups that should have a higher membership and consequently be more useful.

The new process is:

Someone creates a group and looks after it at a simple level by trying to get relevant posts and no business spam. Each group will go through an approval process so we don’t go back to square one with loads of groups.

We currently need people to create the following groups (please check in case they’ve been done since this post went live):
