Central Station, the creative social network based in Glasgow but with a global membership base, has relaunched. Central Station v2 is a bold new experiment in social networking: instead of members uploading their work to the site, the site connects with members' work on other platforms, such as Vimeo, Flickr, SoundCloud, Behance and Cargo. "Instead of you joining us, we're joining you" according to creators ISO. The result is a more streamlined, decluttered site that really allows its featured artwork and articles to sing.
To celebrate v2, Central Station has launched '50 Artists in 50 Days'. It's pretty self-explanatory: for the first 50 days of the new site, a community member a day will be featured on the homepage and mentioned on their social networks. To enter, you just need to upload your work to one of the supported networks and start following Central Station from there.
50 Artists in 50 Days has already started, but there's still time to get involved – and there are some great prizes up for grabs. Visit Central Station for full details on how to enter.
