The first teaser counting down to Carry a Poem in February 2010, the Edinburgh City of Literature campaign to get the whole city reading and carrying poetry together.

Join Edinburgh City of Literature Trust and the Scottish Poetry Library to celebrate poetry, giving poets and celebrities a chance to share the poems they carry close to their heart. Like previous years, thousands of free books are distributed across the city on 1st February 2010, through schools, libraries, and selected outlets. Free downloads and bonus material are available on the campaign site. Events take place all through the month.

Campaign poems are already starting to pop up all over town, papers, even TV, so keep your eyes peeled, and ask as many people you know, and don't know (yet), to answer a simple question: "How do you carry yours"?
